Here are some websites for extra practice and review. It would be a good idea to spend a small amount of time each night.
http://www.funbrain.com/co/index.html What's the point? - Coordinates
http://www.oswego.org/ocsd-web/games/BillyBug/bugcoord.html Fun game with coordinate planes
http://www.math.com/school/subject2/lessons/S2U4L1GL.html Detailed descriptions of coordinate planes! Great site for review or if you were absent.
http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/online/coordinates.swf Coordinates are given and you plot the points (See how many you can get right!)
http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/online/coordinates2.swf Only positive numbers. The X is already marked and you state what the coordinates (ordered pairs) are.
*Some activities involve all 4 quadrants; however, for you it is the first quadrant that is most important.
If you have any questions, write them down and I will help you.
Please ensure that you review the following terms and that you are able to define them:
Coordinate plane, origin, horizontal and vertical axes, ordered pair and quadrant.
